TCS is looking for Graduate Editorial Assistant for London location. This is a 12 month fixed term contract role.

As part of our Communications and Marketing team, you’ll work closely with communications, branding, and marketing teams in the UK and across Europe to create copy for both external and internal audiences.

It’s a varied, interesting and fulfilling role, working as part of a multidisciplinary team of PR/communications professionals, marketers, branding and social media experts. So, collaborative working is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify exciting stories within TCS and showcase them on our award-winning digital storytelling platforms ‘Digital Directions’ and ‘Digital Empowers’.
  • Write, manage and publish blog posts across external and internal platforms.
  • Liaise with management to explain ideas and concepts.
  • Support employee communications for key projects including high-profile engagement initiatives and communicating change.
  • Developing project communications and engagement plans to deliver well informed, engaging, accessible, timely and targeted project communications.
  • Support key project communications channels including internal publications and events.
  • Create and deliver high-quality copy and content for all types of internal communications projects.

Experience Required:

  • University degree in English, communications, marketing or equivalent.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders whilst prioritising the competing demands of the business.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how to write engaging copy and structure your writing.
  • A strong team player, flexible and results oriented, who thrives under pressure and brings a positive attitude to all aspects of their work .
  • Ability to organise own work effectively and prioritise competing workloads .
  • Good IT skills, including experience of using content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager), Microsoft Office (particularly Word and PowerPoint).

Desired Experience:

  • One to two years’ experience in the journalism industry or equivalent corporate content production background.
  • Confident at networking and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how businesses in the B2B sector works and what digital transformation really means.
